This Ford Econoline is one of a few survivers. It remained in the original family until I bought it near 2 years ago. It was for sale by the daughter of the original owner which had give it a nice but basic paint job around 15 years ago. When her father passed, she and her husband upgraded the engine compartment and the interior. It is truly a nice survivor with an original tail gate. Yes most tailgates are gone, they rusted away and were discarded, one of the ways to recognize a good solid Pickup. It runs out nice at highway speeds. When I bought it I drove it home around 150 miles and it got me there on time. I would get in and drive it anywhere.
