RETURN WITH US NOW TO THOSE THRILLING DAYS OF YESTERYEAR ! There must be 100 ads on E-Bay right now that start with, "Right out of a time capsule." So instead, I started with the way I feel about my 1996 Corvette. If you eat, breathe, and sleep Corvettes, I don't have to tell you about this car. You already know all about it. Take a look at the specs above to refresh your memory... than read the good news below... My Corvette could be in a museum, but it's more fun on the road. I've owned it 12 1/2 years and put about 5000 miles on it. It had 1700 miles when I bought it in 2004, it has 7070 miles now. The paint is great, engine is like new, interior is great. You get the idea. I don't recall ever using the windshield wipers, it just never got driven in the rain. And snow? Fuggedaboutit! My baby even has the original tires, with plenty of tread . A 21 year-old 'vette just doesn't come any better. This coupe has the removable transparent hardtop, a six-speed manual transmission, the Corvette performance package and the famous LT4 engine with a 5.7 liter displacement . Yes, it has the 6-way seats get and just about every option you could pry out of the dealer. Check out the original window sticker with the pictures. It also comes with the owners manual, a VHS video cassette made by Corvette about how these cars were made (if you don't use video cassettes any more, I'll transfer the video cassette to a DVD for you), and even a Corvette pen!During a heavy snowstorm (about 4 years ago), a part of my tent fell onto the windshield and frame while the car was parked inside. All damage was repaired and if I didn't tell you, you'd never know. Finally, there's always one question I've always asked when buying a car. Since I know you're going to ask it, I'll tell you now. Why do I want to sell my baby? From 1974-1994 my love was aviation. I flew single engine, low-wing aircraft, as did my wife. Flying your own plane is the second greatest feeling in the world. By 1994, my vision had gotten so bad , I had to hand in my FAA medical certificate and was grounded. I decided to buy every car I ever wanted before my vision failed completely. In the years since, I bought 11 cars that I always wanted to own and still have 7 of them. I'm now 75 years old, hard of hearing and moving to Florida in Nov. Please give my friend Vinny a call to ask questions or arrange a test drive. Your mechanic is more than welcome to come alongVinny's # is 203-426-2342 or cell 818-207-2115.Thanks Dave
