For your consideration: A really nice 1974 Honda XL350 (First Year model) Purchased this lovely machine from a gentleman here in North Carolina that I've purchased several Honda's from. The bike was part of his collection and was purchased from a guy in Tennessee who specialized in XL350 and Big Bore kits. The bike has a Arkansas Title as well as the Manufacturers' Statement of Origin. Owner's manual comes with the bike too... What I know about the bike.... I've only owned if for a few months. You can tell from the clean cylinder and base gasket it has been recently rebuilt. I believe it to have a big bore kit as the compression is strong and it takes a strong force to kick through the kick starter. The bike is complete ( I have fork reflectors and the skid plate missing from the photos) and very fun to ride. I had a 75 XL350 and that's why I wanted this one. The plastic is nice, the wheels are nice (not all boogered up) and the chrome is very nice. Some lite surface rust on the frame in a few spots, tank is nice with a few dings and scratches but could use a paint job. That's why I am including the $30 tank and side cover decal kit. New items include.... Paint is nice as seen in photos...however the tank has a few dings and could use paintFrame paint is pretty nice but I had plans to Powder Coat as there is a little surface rust here and there.STARTED!!! I rode this bike for several weeks on weekends when I purchased it a few months ago. One day it shut off and I couldn't get it started. It has a really strong blue spark, as mentioned a ton of compression but it seems like it's not getting fuel. I've not had the time to take it apart and clean the carb but I believe that's all it is. I had really big plans for this bike and was excited to own it. The starting thing is an easy fix but I have a leg injury and can't kick a bike. This one needs kicked as you know :)The bike is complete and really nice, it just needs some TLC to make it showroom nice. At this price you can't go wrong... Last point!!! I have a 100% rating on eBay and I am very proud of it. I've sold several vintage bikes on eBay and NEVER had a complaint. It's important to me that you are satisified so please ask questions (if you have any) prior to buying this machine. I've got it priced to sell quickly....
