Vehicle Detail

This vehicle was a driver, I started having trouble with it getting warm in town, I thought it might be the water pump so I had a new one installed. Then it was thought it might be the poor flow of air that comes through the front of the radiator, so an electric fan was suggested but there wasn't enough room on either side, so at this point I'm not sure what to do. It runs good but in in town will overheat if not carefull. I guess at this point I should take it off the market. Engine is 74 Built 302, with a Borg Warner T10 Close Ratio 4 Speed. I don't have any imformation on what's in the motor because the fellow who built it passed away and I bought it from the family. I was told he was a mechanic, and owned the car since the early 80s. The engine is low mileage since a rebuild and runs good. It has a Holly intake and carb on it and is pretty powerfull. (To much for me). The car sat for a couple years after the man passed so I had the fuel tank cleaned, and a new Sending Unit and Filler Hose installed. I also had a new Radiator and Overflow Tank installed with new hoses. The heater worked fine for awhile but started leaking antifreeze inside so I disconnected it. It will need repair. The brakes have been cleaned and lubed with new wheel cylinders in the rear, and rebuilt one's in the front. The wheel bearings have been repacked. The car looks good from a distance, but the paint is old and the paint job was not great at best. The interior looks ok, but again the paint is poor. The seat is nice. The floor board are rusted through and the drivers side needs replacing. There is some small rust spots showing under the paint around the rear wheel wells, and probably in other places as well. The car really needs a restore to be really nice again. I do still get alot of compliments on the car, but in reality it needs work. Still fun to drive if you like power and Hot Rods. I'm going to sell with no reserve. Someone will have alot fun with this classic Hot Rod...couple things came to me I didn't remember, the parking cable from the inside lever to the front of the pull cables to rear needs replacing. The chrome on the left side of the rear window has a pretty fair amount of rust. Will need to be rechromed or replaced. As you can see in the picture the bed needs paint. It's chipping pretty bad. ...PLEASE be sure and reread the ad cause Ive lowered the price and I'm going to sell it as is will the heating problem, I'm tired of messing with it and out of money. The car runs and sounds fine. .five4one5nine1five3five9
