Vehicle Detail
Toyota Highlander Excellent Condition, highly maintained.Vehicles body condition is 9.Vehicles drive train condition is 10.Please note that most of these highlanders around this model year anywhere near the midwest look good from above, but if you crawl underneath you will find a nightmare of crusting, flaking chunks of rust loosely hanging on. This one is clean down under. My wife and I purchased this vehicle a few years back and never used it much.We are the second owners minus the Lexus dealership where it was traded in for a new Lexus. It was on the lot for six hours and we were the first ones to it.We were told that the car has not been driven in the winter, evidence speaks for itself in that the car has no hint of rust anywhere on the body. All body seams of doors and fenders are 100 percent below and above rust free. Only some suspension parts that were not painted at the factory have surface rust on them.We were told original owners parked vehicle in garage and went south for the wintersWe continued the practice of parking it in the garage for winters as well, it is simply to nice to violate it with rock salt.I am a retired Coast Guard Machinery Technician and was often commended by superiors for having the cleanest engine rooms they have ever seen. I have held automotive and heavy equipment certifications in the past as well, mostly utilized for running a repair ministry. I say this before hand because I have done all the maintenance since I have owned it. Now I am retiring from the automotive hobbyist field, I have one more to finish after this one.SEE VIDEO; Go to youtube and type Https://youtu.be/kYSQ9xKnc9A In information bar, It is case sensitive.Second Video is https:OskEolqRFyUOver last winter I have replaced/serviced the following items;1. Replaced all four Disc Brake Rotors with Autozones High Carbon Duralast Gold Rotors installed with Autozone Duralast Gold Ceramic Brake pads with Stainless Steel Hardware kits.3. All four Brake calipers replaced as well as flushed and replaced brake fluid with Valvoline DOT 3 brake fluid.4. Serviced Transmission which includes Replacing filter, pan gasket and replenish fluid with Valvoline Synthetic Import Transmission Fluid (5 Quarts).5. Both engine P/S and Alt Belts replaced.6. All headlight and driving light elements replaced.7. Last fall renewed all wipers with good quality wipers.8. Current oil change and filter has only 300 miles utilizing Valvoline Fully Synthetic 5W-20 Motor oil.9. The B.F. Goodrich Tires only have 2000 miles on them. The tire warranty is transferable for $25.00 at Discount Tire.10. Serviced Airbox, MAF Sensor, Throttle Body and replaced air filter.11. Replaced complete headlight assemblies.12. Installed Exide Battery in May, Cables cleaned and sprayed with corrosion inhibitor. Charging system is working good.13. Entire vehicle has been thoroughly detailed inside and out and underneath.Air Conditioning cycles properly just like it is new.Stereo and speakers work without distortion.Brakes will stop vehicle in a straight line under light and heavy applications, you don't even have to hold the steering wheel. You are welcome to have a test drive, if you want to have a mechanic inspect it I need to stay with the vehicle while it is being inspected for my own security reasons.I have most of the boxes related to the parts mentioned above except the brake calipers because they had $85.00 Core charges a piece and the calipers had to be sent back with the original boxes. To put things simply all components work as if they were new.Cosmetically there are a few light scuffs on bumpers. There is one ding that appears to line up with the Grocery Cart of America Anonymous Violators Club on the drivers side front fender. There are several micro chips in hood appear to be beetle and bee collisions at 70 mph. All micro chips have been Dupli-Colored and clear coated to seal from rust getting in.Vehicle has NEVER had a trailer hitch installed which is good news for the tranny & engine mounts.I only use premium fuel in everything I own. There is no evidence of smoking, ash tray looks new, this is another reason my wife and I purchased it.Third row seating does not appear to have been ever been used.Second row seating looks barely used.First row seating shows light use.Vehicle has a full size spare that looks new.Vehicle had a clean Carfax with service records when we purchased it.We had purchased vehicle at a notable amount above Kelly Bluebook. It is in better shape now than when we purchased it.I am a meticulous worker, this is not a slap stuff together for a quick turn around project.I had intended 40 or more pics. I'm going to try to get a video up on youtube soon.
