I have decided to sell one of my land cruisers. I own several different models of land cruisers and am looking to sell one to fund another project. I purchased this truck because it is COMPLETE. Most everything is there. It is all original. This would make a great driver or a restoration candidate. I purchased the truck about 2 years ago not running. Replaced the fuel tank with a brand new oem unit, replaced the rotted fuel lines, cleaned out the carburetor, changed the oil and filter, flushed the coolant, flushed the brake lines, completely rebuilt the rear drum brakes, changed the spark plugs, replaced distributor cap and rotor and replaced the battery. The fj40 runs excellent. Very quiet, starts easily, and has great power. Transmission shifts very smooth with no issues. Clutch is strong. 4wd works great. Heater works, wipers work, hazards and blinkers work, all lights work, speedo works, all gauges except oil pressure work great. Mechanically she is 100%. The body has some rust. Most of the rust is located in the bottoms of the doors. There is some rot located on the hard top where it mounts to the back of the tub. Floors are solid. A little flaking of rust in the floor of the tub. Frame has no rust or rot at all. This is a Alabama native truck. I have the original steel wheel/hubcap and spare tire to go on the back. I also have a set of 4 brand new wheels and hubcaps painted the factory gray color new in box for additional cost. I do not have a title for the truck.
