1975 Mercury Comet 2Dr 302 V8 C4 Trans* The car is mostly complete. Good glass, poor upholstery, wheels are 2005 Mustang alloys. The body paint is old, but polish will bring it back. Photos look better than actual paint. you tube video "1975 Comet 13946" and "1975 Comet 13946.2" I don't know what the screeching is, possibly the iPhone is picking up the fan belt sound, it's only on the video. The engine is complete and installed, running and drives. The engine is a mild build with Crane high lift rockers, 600cfm Edelbrock carb and manifold. Has new Hedman headers, H pipe and flowmasters, needs completion. Sounds GREAT! C4 Trans with 2800 stall converter. New battery. Starter, FlexPlate, Cables, The drive shaft has new u-joints. The gas tank is new, sending unit and tank seals are new. New brake flex lines and the brake pads and rear shoes look new. The power brake booster, master cylinder, rear wheel cylinders and rear shocks are new. New power steering hoses. Front discs and rear drums look very good. New alternator and mechanical fuel pump and has fuel new hoses. The front bumper guards have been removed, but still included. There is some rust in the lower right quarter panel and lower left door. Solid Car, The pan is good with only surface rust on the underside. This is an air condition car, but not connected and needs parts. The under dash unit is there. No pink. The paper work was started (California) but needs an inspection. It was a salvage car bought from a local yard. I have been working on this a long time, but can’t continue. I have added this: I have the bill of sale from the salvage yard. The DMV has acccepted this document. I have also started the paper work at the DMV. The car title is clear, just not finished. I will help in anyway I can with the registration. This car has become an irritant in my familly and I am tired of dealing with it. I hope this helps. Thanks for asking...
