Here we have a very rare gem, a Swiss made Universal B50 Sport. As can be seen from the photos it is a shaft drive flat twin (boxer) As with most things Swiss it is built to the very highest standards of engineering. The Universal was produced for many years for the home market, few if any were exported.I had been searching for a Universal for some years, this one showed up two years ago near Zurich.With the help of old pal Fritz Egli the bike was crated and shipped by air to Seattle.The magneto and general electrics are by Scntilla of Geneva. Note that this bike has the original Scntilla manual headlamp dipper mechanism. The engine runs like a Swiss watch, silky smooth at all speeds. Note also the kick start is correctly designed RIGHT side operation.Included is the original tool kit and loads of factory documentation.
