First off, I love this car and it pains me to get rid of this but my 4 children are making it difficult to have fun with this car as much as I used too. I am looking for someone who can enjoy this as much as I have. This is a 1969 MGB Roadster with much of the original equipment including factory overdrive. The car runs well and is a ton of fun to drive. The paint is primrose yellow which is the original color of the car. This is not a show car but does look good and grabs attention wherever I take it. Yes, small chips and a few small dents but everyone is impressed when they first see it. The wire wheels are fairly new within the last several years (Dayton wire). The car drives well and does have overdrive. The OD does have a short that will need looked at as it works intermittently. I had this looked at previously and was told this is just a short and was resolved. Assuming this is same issue at it works sometimes and not others. That said, car drives great without OD but it is great when on the highway when used. Again, this is a 48 year old car and has minor imperfections. that said, this is a great car to drive and most everything works including the original AM radio, wipers, transmission, 3 blade wipers, top, etc. I put mileage in as 50000 but really have no idea. I am including a copy of factory record from the British Motor Industry heritage Trust. I am not certifying that everything matches (no longer has whitewalls) as I do not know but thought it was cool. It does show the Overdrive which I though many might be interested in as this is rare and really awesome when used. This is a great car to drive around town and just have fun in. I have owned this car for almost 10 years and it has been fantastic. I have fixed many small issues throughout the years but these cars are so easy to work on with no electronics. Looking for someone that can enjoy as much as I have. I have included a very low reserve on this car as I need to find a new owner. Also, just to be clear the car does have factory OD but no it is not currently engaging. Does not impact ability of car to drive. The last time this happened it was a simple short and the guy said it was really easy to fix. Assuming same issue but not sure. Also not in picture but in trunk is tonneau cover, a bag for the jack and stand (looks original) along with jack and stand but I would not use, the knock off for the wheels and extra tire (pictured).
