Clean Original 97 SL500 Last & Best 32valve Classic SL- R129 Garage Queen Original Lady driven till last year documented 53k miles when she traded in for new car. No visible wear inside, original paint excellent clear shine, no oil leaks/smells, no funny sounds, suspension, steering, straight & true this Benz feels as close to new as possible. Bose with sub woofer factory cd changer and tape high fidelity audio, wind deflector. Amazing power (more hp/torque than the BMW 12 cylinder) advanced 32valve V8 (315hp/5600 & 347ft-ld/3900 torque 10:1 compression 6000rpm) before Mercedes went into a 24valve less powerful design in 1999. Much improved sports -5 Speed Electronic Transmission -Prior to 1996 was Hydraulic 4 speed. Black soft top like new everything works as designed including hydraulic movements, hard-top & headliner in excellent shape. Restoring an other SL to this condition would be cost prohibitive... EVERYTHING WORKS AS IT SHOULD Amazing engineering in servicing this Benz for DIY. Hard to find clean original babied Benz!
