No timing chain noises and has been updated with new chain and associated parts. I drive the car on a daily basis with no issues. New front brakes installed first of the year. Car meets emissions and has cats installed I am the second owner of the car. The first owner was a Doctor who brought the car for his wife who rarely drove the car hence the low miles. The car has been well maintained and all service updated. The conversion was well thought out and professionally completed by London Motors in Fairfax County VA.On Aug-03-17 at 11:43:08 PDT, seller added the following information: As can be seen from the photos, The conversions looks stock and could have come from the factory. All parts used for the most part are Jaguar parts including the transmission mounts. Transmission has no grinds and synchros engage like butter. Transmission was imported into the United States from England as this transmission was not imported in any Jaguar car to the States. When Ford Motor Company brought both Jaguar and Aston Martin in the 1990s. Ford decided that in order to avoid competition between Jaguar and Aston Martin, Jaguar cars would only have automatic transmissions and Aston would be equipped with a supercharged inline 6 engine and have the choice of Automatic or Manual. Had the XK8 originally came with a manual, there is no doubt that it would have outran the DB7. The Aston Martin v8 engine found in the current Vantage has its orgins with the Jaguar V8. Again another advantage of beng owned by Ford at the time. As can be seen from the photos, the dual exhaust is larger and stainless steel and provides a excellent tone that suits the car. IMHO, this is the way the car should have been designed. It evokes the feel of the orginal XK-E or E Type and is a true Grand Tourer. There is no doubt that this car attracts attention.
