1981 Chev Corvette. White w/ cinnabar interior. All original, numbers matching, very good condition. Car has been recently serviced. New factory headers, new true dual exhaust system. All new fluids, filters, gaskets, plugs, wires, fresh tune-up. Had compression check.... all cylinders show 90 psi. No oil consumption to be seen. No oil burning or leaking. Starts right up, runs great, stops and steers as expected. Mirrored glass T-tops recently refurbished. Has OEM Delco AM/FM/Cassette 4 speaker radio w/station seek. Power antenna even works. Power windows, power seat (needs repair, motor is good), tilt and telescopic new OEM leather steering wheel. Headlight vacuum system completely rebuilt, working well. Tires are very good. 3 spd TurboHydramatic 350 shifts as expected. PosiTrack rear diff. A/C is there but needs rebuild, heater and fan work as designed. Recently had rear trailing arm and axle bearings rebuilt. Car runs very well and gets a lot of looks. Original paint shows age, has some blemishes and some orange peel areas, some cracks in body, but looks pretty good at twenty feet. Frame is rust free and solid, doors and windows are solid. Suspension has been completely inspected and is safe to drive at speed. Brakes are very good and work well. As with all C3 vettes the steering tends to be a little "vague" but this is normal for these cars. Mileage of car is unknown as Speedo shows around 6000 miles. Probably "rolled over" once. Tach works fine, speedo and cruise do not work. Car has obviously been well cared for and maintained for its 36 year lifetime. But it is still 36 years old and all original. Very nice "driver"!!!!!! Car is located in Springfield Ohio. Can be inspected with appointment.
