This truck is a lot of fun. The drivetrain was taken from a 98 Lincoln Mark VIII with 118k miles. It's 4.6l dohc with a 4 speed automatic and 8.8" rear end. In the front, suspension is a TCI mustang II with tube control arms, power steering and 4 wheel power disc brakes. In the rear the Lincoln independent rear suspension was grafted into the stock F1 almost fully boxed frame. The truck was originally built with air bags at front and rear and has valves and hoses for that in place, however the front has been changed to QA1 coilovers. On to the body mods. The top has been chopped 3" in the lakes style, the roof was not quartered or halved, the A pillars were brought back. The cab was channeled 2" and the hood was sectioned 2" to match. The glass and rubber is all new as well as the entire electrical system. In the cab, electronic gauges from dolphin, an Ididit steering column and drop, heater and defrost unit from Vintage air and turn signal from Limeworks. The shifter is the Lincoln factory unit that has been modified and the bench seat is out of a 64 Ranchero. The cab also sports a hand made fiberglass headliner covered in the same vinyl as the seat.
