Offered for sale is my 1981 Fiat Spider. This is an original, complete car that has been lavished attention by a meticulous Italian car specialist. Mechanically sorted, this car is ready to enjoy summer! Recent work includes: Rebuilt distributor cap, alternator, voltage regulator and new belt Gas tank removed, cleaned and repainted with new hoses New Sears battery New windshield wiper motor and blades New starter motor New Bosch fuel pump, filter and fuel pump relay Brakes bled New Kenwood head unit and Alpine speakers Car starts up on first try, runs smooth and sounds fantastic. No smoke, no leaks. A joy to row through the gears. Handles, steers great. Decent tread, happily cruises all day at 70mph. This is a 36 year old Fiat, so there is body rust, and the clearcoat is gone in places. As can be expected, there are minor dings here and there. Even so, the car turns heads and gets plenty of compliments. The floors are solid, frame is straight so it appears the car has never been in an accident. Driver's seat is torn, but even in shorts you don't notice. No cracks in dash. Top is in fair shape and keeps me dry, no fogginess in rear window. Hazards/turn signals not working.
