Up for sale @ NO RESERVE is a 1986 Nissan Laurel Fresh from Japan! This car is not going to win any races like some other JDM imports but it sure is comfy and RELIABLE! Yes you heard right this 1986 gem is trustworthy but there was a lot of work to get her to this point. Recent workNGK spark plugsNew spark plug wires New fuel filters (in engine bay and on fuel pump in tank)Fuel injectors were sent out to be rebuilt and balanced (paperwork is present if needed)New Oxygen sensor engine oil change, transmission fluid change, rear differential fluid changeNew tire valve stems, tires are still in good shapeFront wheel bearings cleaned and repacked New engine air filterNew PCV valve A/C system serviced and converted to R134A, system blows cold and is holding its charge Mass airflow sensor cleaned This is a great highway or around town cruiser. Ive been able to get about 30MPG. The vehicle is at 112xxx km and last service record states at 108xxx km and the first service record states 32xxx km, this along with all the records in between really shows that someone cared for this vehicle. The windows all roll down to show that there are no B-pillars. The seat belts attach to the roof but also detach making a clean look. Without the B-pillars this seems like a great mail carrier with the amount of arm room present. The drivers seat has height, lumbar and headrest adjustment. The cons,The paint looks great but there are scratches with light surface corrosion on the RF fender, there are scuff marks present from shipping at all four corners. Shes an old car so there are scratches present. I dont know if this paint damage is a need for full repaint of just spot repair. The radio antenna will go up but will not go down. The radio is also in Japanese frequency, but i just use my phone and FM transmitter for the radio. The power folding mirrors make noise but do not fold The gas door cable and trunk cable is broken, the trunk only opens by the key and once in the trunk the gas door release cable is present to pop the door open. Some pulsation when braking Dont be scared of the U-ship process, Ive used U-ship a lot and will help in anyway I can! Also contact me about just picking the vehicle up, I can pickup at RIC airport.
