Vehicle Detail

69 Camaro SS clone for auction. It really is as nice as the pictures. It runs excellent, no leaks or smoke, and sounds awesome. You cant drive anywhere without getting looks and someone always coming up to talk to you about it. Paint is very nice, and shines beautifully. All the body lines are straight, gaps are right. Body, floor, trunk are all solid. Vinyl top is beautiful. This is an original South Carolina car (now in North Carolina), and there is no rust anywhere. It was originally a white 6 cylinder from the factory in 1969. Interior is very clean. No cracks in dash, All gauges work and look very nice. Has a Classic industries AM/FM stereo with a vintage look. Has outputs for your IPOD on the back side of the radio. All lights, inside and out work as they should and are very clear. Carpet is excellent, seats are very nice, headliner is perfect. All the glass is very clear, no cracks or chips. Windows roll up and down as they should, including the 2 back seat quarter windows. Door handles work as they should and doors open and close nice and tight. Hood easily opens and closes as it should and is an all steel cowl induction hood (just not hooked up but will work if you chose to do so). Trunk is solid, and clean, and trunk lid (with spoiler) opens and closes as it should. Engine and transmission are pretty damn fresh. Less than 9,000 miles. Engine is a mild build, 2 bolt main, with an Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley 650 with automatic choke, slight cam (just enough to shake the car a bit), standard bore pistons and stock exhaust manifolds. This car has Vintage Air A/C. It puts out really cold air. The A/C belt does squeak a bit when first fired up but lets up after a few minutes. You'll be amazed how many people notice you're driving a 69 with your windows rolled up on hot summer days. The turbo 350 also has less than 9000 miles and shifts smooth and quiet. Absolutely no issues or leaks. Rear end is a 3.08 gear setup. Wheels and tires are true and full of life. Despite the look with the larger rear tires, they are 8" wide wheels both front and rear. Rear suspension are stock type leafs with Monroe gas shocks so you can tune it for the look you like. Up front are QA1 coil overs. Disc brakes up front and drums in the rear. They stop the car straight and very well. I have a few extra parts that come with it, car cover, brake booster, front license plate holder, and new ball joints (it doesn't need them, the current ones are fine). This car is a driver! You can show it if you want to, but I prefer to drive it. She's never been cut up or hacked on in any way, and in the years I've owned it, and the years the previous owner (personal friend) owned it, this car never even spent the night outside! It rides like a car built in 69. Its not a Cadillac. Its a car that lets you feel everything about it. The sound of the motor, the feel of the gas pedal and the feeling of speed. It requires your attention and is fun as hell. Please ask all questions before bidding. Odometer reads 34495, not sure of actual over its lifetime. This car is sold as is and buyer is responsible for pick up/shipping and car is advertised locally, so this auction can end at any time. VIN#123379N524617 On Jun-10-17 at 14:06:21 PDT, seller added the following information: !!RESERVE LOWERED!!On Jun-11-17 at 10:03:48 PDT, seller added the following information: !!RESERVE LOWERED!! many of the same questions about this car keep coming up, and they are very good ones: Floor pans, trunk, doors, front fenders, and trunk deck all appear to be stock. The rear quarters might have been replaced at some point in its life according to the previous owner (personal friend), but not sure when, but in any case, they were done the right way, because I don't see any evidence of it. The hood is an all steel true cowl induction piece. For sure this was not original to the car because it was originally a six cylinder from the factory in 69. All these pieces I've described are rust free and SOLID. This is a damn nice car. -Mike
