1949 Willys Jeepster old school hotrod. 283 chevy, 3 speed. The following items have been replaced since I bought the jeepster.The jeep has a rebuilt stock front suspension, 8" ford rear end with 411 gears. New front and rear brake shoes, new wheel cylinders, master cylinder. 283 chevy with 350 cam, roller rockers, 600 holley. New timing gear, timing chain, new oil pan, new clutch pressure plate, throw out bearing. New wiring harness. Windshield and wing vent windows have been replaced. New interior carpeting and seat belts added to rear seats. The top is older but in vgc with the exception of 1 small tear, about 1 inch long. Side curtains look good but show some wear too. There are a few tears in the edges of the front seat that have been repaired. 14 x 8" cragar ss on the front, 15x10" cragars on the rear with matching Mickey Thompson tires. Dual point distributor. Glass pack dual exhaust. The body is very solid, but the paint and bodywork is a weak point. I sanded and buffed the jeep, the shine is nice, but there is some cracking in the old body filler. The passenger door has bubbling along the bottom edge, I bought a replacement door from the jeepster man, but it will need painted. The floors are solid, but when I put in the new padding and carpet, I saw somebody in the past placed sheet metal down in the front floor area. Front fenders, rear fenders and rockers are super solid. As stated above, this is an old school hotrod and not a show car. It doesn't ride like a new Cadillac but like a 68 year old jeep. Fast, fun and a convertible too. Priced accordingly to condition. Only 19000 jeepsters produced. Good PA title, sold as is without a warranty.
