Vehicle Detail

Please read the listing carefully before bidding. Bidders with zero, under 50 , or negative feedback need to contact me first prior to bidding or I may cancel your bid. It takes time and money to list a bike and I want the transaction to go smoothly for all parties involved. $500 non refundable deposit due via Paypal immdeiately at auctions end and the remainder of the balance is due within 5 days of auctions end via bank wire, cashiers check, or cash in person. I will not take Paypal for full payment. Please click on the link to see a video of the bike running. *Video Of Bike* This is a fairly rare, very original, and unrestored or molested TR5MX with matching numbers. I bought the bike thinking I would ride or restore it and its just not in the cards right now, The bike is in pretty good condition for a vintage MX bike considering the hard lives most of them led. There are imperfections that can be seen in the pictures. There are nicks, scratches, and dings you would expect for a bike this age that was used as a dirt bike. What you see is what you get other than a few seals that will be included. I do not have the side covers for the bike. The previous owner put a new capacitor and points on the bike and had a hard time starting so he lost interest. These bikes can be very cantankerous and difficult to start. I can get this one to start within a few kicks most days. Some days thats not the case. I would add a small lithium or similar 12v battery into the equation to make it easier to reliably start if I were to keep it. I think the capacitor sometimes doesnt have enough initial spark. But Im by no means an expert. The tank has 2 dings in it, the rear fender does have a split, the front fender has a small split in it as well, the bottom muffler will most likely need replacing ,and the rear rim chrome is pretty bad. Thats the worst of the flaws. Im not trying to make it sound worse than it is, just wanting to be up front so there are no surprises or disappointments. All in all, its a good start for a restoration or just ride it like it is. Add lights and terrorize the neighborhood on this rare thumper. The perfect bike for AHRMA MX or vintage races. I have ridden the bike just enough make sure it went through all the gears and had no major issues that I could find. It will need new tires as the original dunlops are still on it and the rear brake will need some attention. The bike will need a full service as well to make sure everything is completely ready to go. There is a Tn title in my name for the bike. Please look at the pictures below and the video link above. Please ask any and all questions prior to bidding. I am sure I have left out a few details and cannot be responsible for answers to questions not asked. Payment is due within 5 days via bank wire, cashiers check, or cash in person. I will not release the bike or title until all funds have cleared my bank. Title will be released upon pickup of the bike. The bike must be picked up within 3 weeks of auctions end or storage fees may apply. Please have an idea of a shipper you plan to use and the costs involved prior to bidding. Foreign bidders please contact me prior to bidding.
