1998 Jeep Cherokee Limited4x4, 242 Transfer Case with Full time option for highway driving in constant 4x4Nearly completely rust free. Rockers, doors, and floors are all completely solid. THERE IS A SMALL RUST SPOT STARTING ON THE DRIVER SIDE FLOOR PAN AROUND THE DRAIN PLUG, where it always starts to rust. It is very small, but it is there. There is also a spot on the rear quarter panels underneath the vehicle. Other than that, there is no rust that I know of and no rot showing anywhere else on the vehicle. No death wobble. Vehicle is completely reliable and roadworthy. I drive it from Milwaukee to Michigan regularly, and I average over 24mpg on the highway @ 60mph and conservative driving habits. The vehicle always starts, and has never broken down or left me stranded. I would not hesitate to drive this Jeep across the country as it sits right now. Recent oil change. Occasionally driven, so mileage will go up until sold. Will less than 125,000 miles at the end of auction. It is a 19 year old Jeep, not a new Cadillac. Its a great vehicle in great shape, but does have its share of normal wear and tear. Well above average condition for the age, especially in Wisconsin. Has all jack, tire iron, spare tire, etc, in factory locations and in good working order. No check engine light, or any warning lights on the dash. Overhead console is fully functional. All turn signals, power windows, headlights, are in fully functional condition with no known issues. Has functional keyless entry. 2 keys.
