We purchased this car here for my son and I was quite happy with it until I had to drive it 600 miles home. It has no issue's just the fact that it is so tight in the suspension that I needed a chiropractor when I got home (in 6.5 hours).Also, they should not sell this car to anyone under the age of 21, it is just dangerously fast. Too fast for my 17 year old son. I am going to post everything that I have found out about this car since I got it a month or so ago so that you know exactly what your buying. This car has a salvage title. There has been no reported accidents on this car. Please see the report below. ExteriorThis car was originally Plasti-Dipped in BRIGHT ORANGE and I have confirmed this and have left some for you to remove under the rear license plate and under the front bumper. I was told that this was the primary reason for the salvage. From what I can see all the panels seem to be original. The front hood has been resprayed the left rear quarter panel and bumper has been resprayed. The roof has been touched-up in the corner about the size of a dime. I am not sure if the black paint on the roof is OEM or not but it’s not Pasti-Dip. Other than that the car is paint is good. The front grill was Plasti-Dipped too. May need another one if you want an original look but I think the suspension will rule that out so another dip is in order. InteriorThe leather is in great shape with no tears at all but in need of a good clean and leather treatment. It needs a good vacuum! The front passenger floor mat is missing. Has the S-Line Carbon Fiber trim. It has a small crack next to the Quattro logo on the passenger side dash.The Bose stereo works great. The only thing that doesn't work is the volume knob on the head unit but the steering wheel volume works. The sun roof works and all the windows work. The child seat anchor cover is missing on the rear sill. It has a serviceable OEM spare tire with jack and wrench. It has the emergency first aid kit in the rear center compartment. All seat belts are there and functional. All electronics work with the exception of the volume knob. AC works great. EngineThe engine has been replaced but I cannot confirm this but I will say that they generally do not last this long without changing the engine out/changing the chains and guides or someone has taken really good care of it. I feel that if someone took good care of it, it wouldn't have been luminous orange. The clutch is easy with no slippage. Shifting is easy with no grinding or popping out of gear. These Getrag transmissions are bullet proof. The engine pulls hard and long. I can see that the coolant has been changed with a new expansion tank. The brakes are dangerously efficient as they will rip your heart into your rib cage if you want to test them. The 6 piston Brembo's are a little over kill. Pads are 95% all round. The tires 95% tread on them. There is remarkably no noise's such as rattles and or squeaks from anything from inside while driving. All the doors close solid and the noise inside is quiet besides the wonderful rumble from the exhausts. The time it took me to get it home would have also raised any issues with this engine as I was not as kind as I could have been but it seemed not to want it any other way. I have done a few things to it since it was purchased including looking into taking the suspension back to stock and getting the wheels refinished. Both where too expensive as a toy for me but I did get the wheels refinished without covering up the damage from road rash. They run straight and true with no vibration. I did look into getting new ones but they are $3000 a set. Please see the pictures. I replaced the driver side fender brace with a new OEM brace. The front inner fender liners where worn and missing fasteners so I replaced them new liners and new fasteners. I am very aware of the issue's with the timing chain on these cars and made sure that this was not one of them before I took delivery. I have given it an oil change to make sure that there was no thickening agent to mask mechanical slap in the engine. It does have a slight oil leak. The 600 mile trip did not affect the oil level. I have done almost 1100 miles since I have had it. If anyone wants me to YouTube a cold start to verify the NO CHAIN SLAP I will.
