1952 Chevy Powered MGTD Replica Vin # 1RMCA311XHF00455 Mileage since build 6,010. Powered by a 1.6 liter Chevy 4 cylinder engine. 4 speed manual transmission. This car starts easily and drives well. The engine makes good power in this light car and it easily does highway speeds. The transmission works as it should and the clutch is very smooth. Front disc brakes, rack and pinion steering and all gauges and lights are working. This car also has a heater and a leather adjustable seat. This MGTD was sold in kit form from Classic Roadsters Limited as a Duchess model. This car does have a full square tube frame and is not built from VW parts. Comes with a soft top and side curtains. All assembly manuals, receipts, factory books, engine manuals, wiring schematics and brochures are included. The overall condition is very good with one small crack on the front fender (see photos). This is a nicely built car that looks great and has the reliability of a Chevy. Spare parts are readily available and compared to the cost and reliability of a real MGTD, you could use this as an affordable daily driver.
