I am relisting this beautiful all original collectable classic motorcyce due to a winning bidder who thought my purchase requirements (which are listed below) did not apply to him. If you have any issue with the final payment requirements because you are shipping overseas, than I suggest you look for bikes in your own country. I purchased this all original matching numbers Trident from an elderly man in New Jersey. He told me that it was previously his friends bike who gave it to him in 2001 shortly before he died of cancer. He rode it sparingly for a few years putting perhaps a thousand miles on it, and as he got older he stopped riding about five years ago and parked it in his garage. Unfortunately he did not drain the gas out of the bike. The bike is not currently running. There is a layer of varnish in the tank that will need to be addressed and the carbs will need to be cleaned. the engine is free and feels as if it has good compression. Brake calipers are not locked and the transmission clicks into gear. The clutch engages and disengages. There is some minor pitting on the right silencer,some minor scratches on the front fender, minor pitting on the header pipe and a small ding and scratches on the fuel tank. The center stand has some rust and I think the side stand may be bent. If placed on it the bike leans over extremely far. The motorcycle has a clean and clear NJ title in my name. I will include any additional documentation that you may require for proof of purchase. This bike is being auctioned to the highest bidder with no reserve. It is not for sale anywhere else. If you have less than a ten item Ebay history, your bid will be retracted unless you contact me first. There is a $100 deposit due through paypal at auctions end. This Title identification number was generated by NJ department of motor vehicles in 2001 when the previous owner transferred ownership from the original owner. In 1981 VINs where standardized to the modern form which had specific letters and numbers differentiating country of origin, manufacturer, displacement etc.. Having none of these characteristics NJMVC used TRI for Triumph, 02561 which are the stamped numerals of the serial number found on the frame stamp, engine stamp, and frame sticker (all clearly shown in the photos) and added 1975 at the end for the model year giving you the VIN of TRI0211975. On May-30-17 at 10:32:59 PDT, seller added the following information: !!!!****ATTENTION ALL BIDDERS****!!!! After the concern was raised by the many potential bidders concerned with the VIN listed on the title, I decided to spend my day at the DMV. I had the frame and engine stamps verified to have the title corrected to show the actual VIN. I understand the good possibility of this bike being shipped overseas and want whatever potential buyer to know that this bike will clear customs without an issue.
