1957 Ford Thunderbird with a Port hole Vinyl top. Under 23,000 miles--no rust! 312 V8 with 4 speed manual transmission. Fun to drive and is a real head turner.Here is the cars history. I purchased the car from a local estate. The seller purchased the car in the late 1960's. He was the 2nd owner of this car and seldom ever drove it. Just loved having it. Family said it was stored inside the basement garage since he purchased it. This is why no rust and low miles. He wanted a manual transmission and removed the factory automatic and installed a 67 mustang 4 speed. Later in life he had the original gold painted red. On one of his last times out he damaged behind the front fender. It's hard to see in the picture but looks like maybe a curb damaged it. Last time outside until sold.I have replaced the carpet, seat foam and covers. Serviced and tuned the car. Replaced the clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing. Surfaced the flywheel. Repaired and replaced miscellaneous items. It still has on the old style bias ply tires. I would recommend new radials. Brakes work but need service. Radio hums but no sound. I have put close to 1,000 miles on the car as is. It is in driving condition now.Call Richard 541-969-4893 if you have questions.
