Vehicle Detail
This auction is for a 1999 Pontiac Trans Am Convertible with Ram-Air hood. This car is in real good condition inside and out. It is a perfect cruise night car. I do not want to overstate how nice it is and have someone be disappointed, I would say it's real good with minor imperfections for a classic car, and I believe you will be impressed when you see it in person. I get alot of attention and compliments with this car. I am selling as true mileage unknown. Pennsylvania exempts the mileage on titles 10 yrs or older so the title reads exempt, the odometer shows 87,xxx miles. This car has gone through a considerable transformation. The engine was replaced with a low mile take out from a reputable dismantler. The engine got the following upgrades before installation:GM 12564243 heads GM LS6 intakeNew Comp Cams XFI cam .528 liftNew LiftersReman 28 LB injectors from a 1998 Trans AmStock TB with smooth bellows and an SLP Lid on a Ram Air boxK&N FilterAll new gaskets, seals, hardware, plugs, wires, fluids, etc.New BBK short headersNew Delco fuel pumpNew fuel filterHas off-road Y-pipe.Has Magnaflow 3" stainless cat back.Has new Bosch Glass Mat battery Transmission was rebuilt 1 week prior to my purchase and has new stock torque convertor. The rear is a take out from a six speed WS6 car. It is the 3.42 ratio with new seals and fluid, I also used the sway bar and original shocks from that WS6 car. Car has ceramic brake pads and drilled/slotted rotors, rear brake metal lines replaced. The power steering rack is a new reman unit and the car was aligned. The Speedline wheels are in excellent condition and the Sumitumo tires are matching with two new fronts and two rears are at 80+%. I have 2 additional matching used tires to go with car if you want them. The PCM was changed with the engine and the car was fully programmed for the upgrades and rear change. No lights on, no issues, traction and abs, etc all work. Car was not tuned on a dyno, but runs exceptional, as expected with no disappointments there. This car flies, idles nice and has great street manners. No leaks, noises, smoke or anything like that. The interior is presentable. No rips on the seats but some wear that can be seen if you look close doesn't show in pics, dash is all nice with no cracks. Door panels appear to have been repaired but look good. All options work, windows, locks, keyless entry, power seat, power antenna, power mirrors, power top, cruise, air conditioning, pop up headlights, trunk release. Has a good PA inspection. Car has Kenwood touchscreen Navigation with PPI amp, Bazooka bass tube in trunk, Alpine and Rockford speakers. Clean install that sounds great and steering wheel controls work. All in all this is way faster than stock WS6 T/A. It is well sorted out and, nicely upgraded since it was going to be a keeper. This Trans Am has the best combo offered, a black Ram Air Convertible at a reasonable price. This car rides and handles nice for a convertible. I have put just under 500 miles on it in about 3 years. It sits and it is taking up precious real estate in my garage. Bid confidently, this is definitely not a junker that you will cry when you see. Car can be viewed before auction ends. Car has to be picked up in person, but I will work with your shipper as best as I can. Winning buyer to pay a $500 deposit through Paypal within 24 hours of auction end. Cash or certified check must clear bank before car leaves. Please check out the pics and feel free to ask any questions, or I can be reached at 267-987-3278.Thanks for looking. Good luck. Bill
