1982 Honda CR

1982 CR125 in excellent condition. I bought this 5 years ago needing the top end freshened up and a new clutch cover/ water pump. These covers are magnesium so the only real fix is to use an aluminum cover from a 1981 model which I did. I had the engine completely rebuilt by a Honda technician. He installed a new polished rod, new crank bearings and a new piston. The cylinder was done correctly with the exhaust bridge relieved and holes drilled in the piston where it runs on that exhaust bridge. The bike has been used twice a year since at vintage races and has won in GP3 small bore and even an over 60 race. It has been as reliable as a claw hammer so far. I do have the next 2 over bore pistons included with the sale. The bike has Boyesen reeds, widened footpegs, DG muffler, Tag handlebars, quick adjust clutch and recent tires. It is 100% race ready with excellent brakes and suspension. Also pictured is a manual, the stock bars, one tooth smaller front sprocket and a spare air filter. It is being sold on a bill of sale.
