I purchased this car from the grandson of the original owner who had it repainted in 1984 in its original factory color. The paint job still shows very well. There is absolutely no rust anywhere and I cannot find any rust repair work anywhere. The car is in very good to excellent condition in every way. It has 39,000 miles and the engine is smooth and whisper quiet. Runs, rides, drives and shifts like a 1946 Ford should. 2 rear end ratios were available. This car is equipped with the 3.54 (highway) ratio as opposed to 3.78 (city) ratio. Rebuilt 6 volt generator, new voltage regulator and 6 volt battery. New wiring harness. Starts instantly with no issues. All interior lights, exterior lights and dash lights work. The horn and all gauges work except the clock. Interior is original with floor covering replaced at time of repaint and in very good condition. All chrome and stainless is very good to excellent. Period correct after market (J.C. Whitney?) accessories are: dual outside rear view mirrors, hood ornament, electric curb feelers (works), back-up light (works) and static electricity ground straps.
