Well, it is time for this 1980 Spitfire to find a new home. I have a new job, had to move, and now have no garage to keep it in or work on it. Add in no extra time to enjoy it anymore and it's just not fair to the car. As you can see by the mileage, I drive my cars. They are meant to be driven. I have kept it up well, if you want to see everything that I have done over the past couple of years I can send you the receipts and notes. Polyurethane bushings on almost everything now. New master cylinder. New stereo. Engine was refreshed a couple of years ago, clutch lightened, oil cooler, new speakers, trunk panels. Exhaust replaced. New ball joints, alternator and plastic instead of the old cardboard transmission cover. New shocks. And lots of little parts and pieces updated. The only thing I would do is replace the top.
