Here we have a stunning example of a 1980 Malibu , it started out as a 6 cylinder car so it wasn't beat on all its life . Started with a nice clean chassis , the body was removed from the frame sand blasted and painted black. When body was re-installed all new bushing were installed , from there car was sent off for paint and painted speedway blue ( Toyota color ) really sets the car off . From there we moved into the interior , needed to be updated . So we got a interior from a 85 SS Monte and dyed it black , looks really good against the metallic blue paint . Now we got got ourselves a nice roller ! At this point it was time for a drivetrain and we wanted to make the car a nice cruiser, so we went with a rebuilt 350 with a mustang T5 and hydraulic clutch setup out of a 80s Camaro and a posi GN 3:42 rear . But wait it's not just a 350 , it's a rebuilt 350 out of late 60s/early 70s Bette with a slightly more aggressive cam (325 hp or so). Fun simple car to drive and you don't see many anymore especially this clean ! There is a lot of new parts , and little updates throughout the car such as a new gas tank , and updated cluster from Monte with led lights! We also put some GM rally wheels from and older GM to complete the look ! This car is still from 1980 and it will have some imperfections , but I assure it's cleaner than 99.8% of the other G body Malibu running around . We welcome inspections !
