Up for bids is this 1966 ford mustang coupe. It is a pretty nice old car. It has the turquoise and white pony interior with the tahoe turquoise exterior. This is a unusual paint combination. This is a true pony interior car and this is the original colors. It has a white vinyl top. This is a real nice car. It recently had a new interior put in it with a fresh paint job. The driver rear quarter was changed and the passenger lower quarter was also changed. It was loaded out for a 66 model. It came with factory a/c, power steering, console, pony interior 289 and automatic. All in all it is a loaded out car. The motor runs good. The paintjob looks good. The car is nice but it will still need some mechanical work. A few of the gauges don't work, The power steering has a little leak and will need some work. This car had sat up for a long time before I got it. I took it in on a trade from a guy with the restoration partially done and finished putting it together and had it painted. Basically the body work and paint are done, interior is done but it will need some mechanical fine tuning and work. The frame sections and body is solid. I think the only visible rust place on the whole car is the rear driver floor pan had a whole that someone fiberglassed and I didn't see any point in fixing it so I left it and thats about it. This is a very solid complete original car. The drivertrain and everything is original on the car. This would make a easy car to finsh out if you can do some minor mechanical work. The motor seems to be good. It runs good and sounds good. The transmission seems to be okay to. It shifts fine. The power steering will need some work but is all there and works. The car is also for sale locally so if it ends early then if sold here. As for picking it up I would recommend picking it up on a trailer rather than trying to drive a long distance until you have tried it out and fine tuned it to work the bugs out and make sure there are no problems. Like I said it sat up for many years before I got it so it will need some fine tuning before it is ready for a cross country trip.
