Vehicle Detail
A Real 1963-1/2 Falcon Sprint (Refer Photo of DSO tag). The only time a V8 option was available in a first-generation Falcon was the 1963½ model, and these cars were produced in very limited numbers (Sprint two-door hardtop (bucket seats) 10,479 produced and Sprint convertible (bucket seats) 4,602 produced). Jay Leno even has one if you want to look it up on U-Tube. This car came from the factory with a 260 V-8 and a T-10 Four Speed. The 260 has been replaced with a freshly built 302 with aluminum heads, and has more than double the horsepower of the original engine. It runs and drives very well, and has had thousands of dollars and hundreds of shop hours invested in it.Here is a rundown:Professionally Built 302 running Ford Aluminum SVO Heads, Motorsport Aluminum Intake, Ford Racing Valve Covers, Ford Performance Electronic Ignition With Rev Control by MSD, plus a Street Performance Cam with just the right amount of lope to it.Original T-10 4 Speed Running Redline MTL w/ new Clutch, Pressure Plate and Throw-out BearingNew Aluminized Progressive Exhaust System W/ Welded, Chambered MufflersAll New front End Components and BrakesNew 14x7 Supreme Wheels W/ all New Radial TiresNew Front Coil Springs and Monte Carlo BarNew Rear Leaf Springs and BushingsNew Front Shocks, New Rear Air Shocks W/ Separate Fill ValvesVery High Quality Guards Red Basecoat Clearcoat paint over a thoroughly massaged, straight body w/ Under Hood, Trunk, and all Jambs Freshly Painted as wellNew Tail Light Lenses, plus Inner and Outer GasketsNew Dennis Carpenter Door RubberNew Trunk Rubber, New Brake and Clutch Pedal PadsBody has Excellent Gaps Everywhere; Doors open and shut Smoothly, Glass all rolls up and down smoothly.
