1981 Honda CBX

This is a no reserve auction for my1981 Honda CBX project bike This bike is in strong running condition, starts right up and does not smoke. It has new tires front and rear. It has a newer chain and sprocket set. It has had the carbs cleaned recently and tuned. The mileage is unknown, the speedometer and tach were replaced as the old one were damaged by water and sun and discarded. It was in the 25 to 30K range. The bike needs some attention, but makes a great starting point for a restoration project. That's what I was going to do but I have a 1979 CBX as well and I am going to focus on that one. ISSUES:Speedometer and tach do not work, they both need cables. Also, the dash lights and plastic covers are bad, this is how the replacement dash came. The paint, which was a "ghost flame" job, is in poor shape, It has lots of scratches and some flaking. It was stored under a cover when I got it, outside and that beat it bad. The engine has some peeling on black paint as shown in photos. The cam end cover on right side has a broken edge as shown in photo. Right fork seal weeps a little. Side stand is missing, center stand works fine. Factory exhaust has been changed to a aftermarket, I don't have original. There are probably other issues, but the condition is represted in the photos.
