Vehicle Detail
Before you read on too far, the rear seats are no longer installed. The car was set up for camping and transporting film equipment. It would make a great work vehicle, transporting furry friends, etc. However if you're looking to transport more than two people, you may want to move on to another vehicle. Runs pretty good overall, needs some interior work if you want to make it a little nicer. Currently fitted with plywood/carpet. Video with more photos at: https://youtu.be/YORYM_LrdkY The quirks (It is 13 years old after all): - It is speckled with sap due to being parked under a tree for about a month (I'm slowly removing the sap as the weather warms up).- As mentioned, no rear seats which causes the SRS (Safety Restraint System) warning light to stay on due to the seats and rear seatbelts being removed. I'm not sure if the computer could be reprogrammed telling the system there are only two seats so the light does not appear.- Front left tire has a slow leak, all tires will need replacement in the next couple thousand miles.- Minor dents/scratches.- Radio and navigation system were removed which also causes the backup sensors to not work (can be rewired with a new radio).- Vacuum pump/switch for brakes went out. This causes the brakes to have limited power for the first few minutes during vehicle warm up as the vacuum builds up in the system. I've left this alone since I naturally let the vehicle warm up prior to driving it and don't even notice the problem. Cost to fix is between $150-500 depending on how handy you are (fairly easy fix for the DIY type). The good: - I bought it with 24k miles in 2012 and the rest of the miles are primarily highway. Currently has 77,652 miles.- California car, only spent three winters in the Midwest, almost no rust.- Runs and drives well.- Typically replaced oil between 3500-7500 miles.- New battery in 2013- Ready to be turned into whatever you like for a home or business... Options: - Sunroof - Power and heated seats- Power locks and windows- Two keys with remote I primarily drive another work vehicle so this one has not been driven for about 9 months. It has been moved back and forth from the garage to the driveway and occasionally started and that is about it. Don't need it, so that's why I'm selling it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask...On Apr-07-17 at 18:32:50 PDT, seller added the following information: Please consider this prior to bidding:I spoke to my bank since I have a lien on this vehicle. The state of Illinois takes about 10 days prior to releasing a title after it has been paid off and the bank releases it. Payment for the auction would have to be received in order to pay off the loan and get the title so it could take up to 10-20 days before I can get the title to the winning bidder.
