Original 1982 Diesel Toyota Land Cruiser HJ47 I acquired this HJ47 Cruiser from the original owner in Queensland, Australia a little over a year ago and have been using it as a daily driver ever since. He was offloading it as he was too old to climb up into the cab any longer. It is original in pretty much every respect except for the modification to a push-button glow plug relay instead of the automatic super glow system (a pretty common modification for this vintage of Cruiser). Some notable details about the vehicle: VIN is HJ47-022263 (eBay wont accept this as a valid VIN for post-1981 vehicles) Completely unmodified all the way down to the original steel rims Body is straight and with the exception of a few chips here and there Paint is in good condition and has likely been touched up over the years No cancerous rust anywhere on the body No evident patching or use of body fillers Floorpans are solid (except for some grime) Original Toyota floor mats and bench seats Three seatbelts (two shoulder and one lap) Stock Toyota electric winch and winch controller (currently not working) Stock naturally aspirated 2H diesel engine 199K original miles (odometer shown in the photos is in kilometers) Engine starts first time ever time and runs without issue (occasionally will puff a small amount of white smoke for a few seconds if started on a cold morning) Stock front disc brakes with rear drums Four speed manual transmission with high and low range 4WD Aisin manually locking front hubs The owner was a rancher and maintained the vehicle himself so doesnt have a history of maintenance. That said, its evident it has been well looked after by the condition of the body and mechanical smoothness. I havent needed to touch anything on it since owning it other than change the oil, the fan belt and grease the nipples. I am not in a rush to sell it but I have three of these old Cruisers and its time for this one to go seeing its the only one that cant fit the whole family. The vehicle has a clean title free of liens and is titled in California. It is registered in California until February 2018 and is smog exempt. I require a $500 deposit (which I will accept in cash or via PayPal) within 72 hours of the auction closing. I will only except cash for the balance of the purchase price, which is due within 10 business days of the auction closing. I am happy to work with shipping companies for transport if required, but please note I will not let the vehicle out of my sight until I have been paid in full in cash.
