Vehicle Detail

1993 CBR900rr This bike is for sale locally as well so the auction may end at anytime. If you are serious about owning it you can contact me call / text at 775 742 8807 or message one here and we can work something out, Otherwise this is a NO RESERVE AUCTION. Local buyers encouraged to come see and ride the bike in person, all others I can send pictures/ video of whatever you would like to see. SHIPPING: I would be happy to assist in any way I can. I can even arrange a "shipped to your door" price where I take care of everything... Shipping for motorcycles is very reasonable these days, I have shipped bikes to the east coast for 500$ and to the west coast for under 200$. If you want to look into your own shipping I highly recommend "uship.com" This is a great example of a classic un-molested low miles fireblade. Comes with a clear Nevada title in hand with keys ready to ride home today. 14k miles (if you aren't familiar with the 900rr they have legendary longevity when it comes to Japanese sportbikes look into it) Also has original tool kit, original front turn signals, service manual, And also Original brake reservoir cover and matching tank cover (not shown in photos) This is an absolutely iconic sport bike, and most consider this color scheme to be the most sought after of the bunch, It just has that look of the 90s. I won't toot its horn too much as I will assume most people know what it is. This bike does have some cosmetic flaws. The fairings have been repaired in a couple spots, as you can see it was done well but should be noted. There is 1 crack that was plastic welded and fiberglassed to repair but could not be painted because it is under the blue decal or graphic (this is on the front right of bike next to blinker and in pictures has a "progrip" sticker over it) If you can find a factory decal to cover this it would be 10x better. There is another crack that was repaired but not painted, around the rear keyhole cover for the rear seat latch. The gas tank also has some chips, and pealing clear coat on top. Please see photos CLOSELY. They do make aftermarket fairing kits for less than 350$ that match this factory paint scheme might be an option for some people if they want something that looks new. I can link you the page. Other than the fairing and gas tank flaws, this bike is extremely clean. I would have posted 100 photos if ebay would let be but it limited me to 24. It is very rare to find 90s CBRs that are this clean. This could literally be a museum quality Resto with just some fairings, and maybe a couple sourced parts like original mirrors and bar ends. It has clearly been garaged its whole life, no hardened or cracking rubber I could see, and all of the little details look great, very clean frame, motor etc... NO LEAKS. It has aftermarket matching"second look" front and rear seat covers which were apparently a popular mod for these bikes in the 90s. The covers are in good condition and still soft and supple... There is also a matching gas tank cover that came with this set that isn't pictured. It also has a matched "targa" or solo seat cover. In the pictures it looks a little weird, it is adjustable so it will fit the lines of the bike better. Also has a nice period two brothers exhaust. Probably some other parts I am missing. I was going to put new tires on, but there are so many great options for tires these days that It is really best left up to the new owner. The fuel pump has been bypassed to gravity feed as so many of these bikes did, but it has the original fuel pump, a brand new fuel pump, and original clamps and lines are all included to revert if wanted would take 5 minutes. Very fast bike and feels way more torquey than modern literbikes. Here is a quick video (skip to the end to see video of walkaround and riding and skip redundant pictures) You can see the handlebars twitch at around 2:14 that is the front end coming up this bike has tons of power. (Sorry for the music, had to switch to opensource music and have limited options, also yes I was not wearing gear, just was on a quick demo ride) AGAIN I CAN SEND PICTURES OR VIDEO OF WHATEVER ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO SEE, JUST ASK. IF YOU HAVE 0 FEEDBACK YOU MUST CONTACT ME BEFORE BIDDING OR YOUR BID WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. On Apr-07-17 at 17:22:19 PDT, seller added the following information: If you are one of the people who likes to put there bid in right at the last second, please be aware that there is nothing I can do if "Your computer crashes" or "Your internet went out" or "ebay made me login in again at the last second".... I learned a long time ago it is best to at least give yourself a couple minutes before the auction ends, or have two devices ready. Last bike I sold I had two people message me saying they missed the end of the auction for one reason or another. Please just keep that in mind.
