For sale is a 1980 FIaT X 1/9. Restored and upgraded. I have enjoyed driving this car to many shows . I would not hesitate to drive this car anywhere. The drive train is smooth and handles well on freeways or country roads. Starting system has been converted to a start key and push button high torque starter. New battery in 2015. Fuel system is mechanical pump with a Weber 2 bbl carb. Regular gas gets 30 plus mpg average. Emission systems include catalytic converter . I added a duel exhaust with lower rear panel. Door locks do not work, yet. Modified hood and pass through radiator. New carpet and seat covers over original pumpkin skins.Many extras not mentioned. Many parts to go with it. So I have reviewed the contact questions and i want to make sure my answers to the contact questions are understood. Also I made a mistake that needs to be corrected. I put this listing on Ebay from memory and i want to be clear. First the mistake, the mileage on the title is 78k , the mileage on the car is 91k, so i have put 13k on the car since buying it. I answered a contact question that the locks do not work, you can lock the doors , the linkage between the key and the lock is not in place. I answered that I put a new timing belt on when i replaced the motor, its the original motor, I removed it to clean , repair and paint the car and put a timing belt , valve stem seals , adjust the shims for the valve remove the air pump and generally clean and paint the motor. So I think that's every thing and I wanted to make sure everyone is informed befor making final bids, words have meaning. good luck all. mike
