Relisted due to buyer who didn't pay. I am selling my 1978 Goldwing that I have owned for 11 years. I bought it in non running condition and had to do some repairs to get it running. The carburetors were replaced because the ones on the bike were crusty inside from sitting idle. This is not in excellent cosmetic condition. It is in fair condition. I ride this bike to work and around town on errands. There are minor scratches from 39 years of use. The chrome has light pitting, but does shine up. The left muffler has been repaired at the front where it mounts to the crossover pipe, the right muffler has some rust on the bottom side. The voltage regulator malfunctioned a couple years ago so I had to repair the plug that connects the stator to the wiring harness as shown in the photo of the battery area. Rear tire was new last year. Front tire is in good condition.The cooling fan would work if the temp sensing switch were replaced. The luggage rack has been welded and reinforced where it broke. It looks like the previous owner adapted a rack to fit the bike. The travel trunk on the rack has cracking in the fiberglass on the top surface. The side bags are not Krauser. Apparently someone made a clone of Krauser bags. Everything works as it should. It starts and runs very good. Has it ever been dropped? Sure, it fell on it's side in my driveway last year. Don't buy this bike expecting a collector's bike. This is a bike you can ride. Local pickup only or I can deliver within 50 miles of Canton, Ohio 44709 for $50.00.
