Beautiful 1981 CBX with only 4652 miles. I bought this bike in Los Angeles in 2011 with only 470 miles showing and new tires just installed. Rather than ship to SW Florida I flew out one way and rode it home: 2749 miles 4 days, incident free (for a copy of my road diary email me). Since then it has rarely been ridden as I am a Canadian snowbird, and it breaks my heart for it to sit for months while I am away. Always garaged, ridden only once in the rain and only sees the sun when rolling down the road. Overall the bike is in excellent shape. Flaws are: some small scratches here and there, a tiny dent in the tank, windshield shows normal scratches and swirls from riding and washing. Braided steel brake lines were installed. Stock exhaust is in excellent shape, but he header pipes are discolored due to running rich at one time. Some pitting on the alternator cover and a couple of other places. Saddlebags, seat and other bodywork are excellent. I do not have the suspension air pump (available on eBay I’m sure). This CBX shows and runs extremely well. Owners manual and 3 keys included.
