Vehicle Detail
Here we have a 1966 BMW R27 with lots of extra BMW parts. This bike I owed about two years ago, and I recently just got it back. The previous owner was doing some work to it, and when I got it back the head was off it. I lightly put the head back on to show whats all there. The engine does spin over, but does not run so I am listing it as a non running project. I am including in this sell if the new buyer can have it shipped or picked up, is lots of extra parts, including a spare tank, cover, fender, two parts engines, transmission, and some other odds and ends. This bike was said to have been a police bike early in its life. This BMW r27 VIN 386068 was manufactured on May 04th, 1966 and delivered on May 13th, 1966 to the company Coutinho in Hamburg, Germany. The bike was originally equipped with a bench seat. The original color was not mentioned in the delivery books. Which is the first time I have seen a color not recorded by BMW. Which makes me believe that it was not meant for public use, and was used by the Police. I also have been told this bike also is equipped with a police right passenger side, side stand. The frames VIN and engine number match. There is a title for the bike. I will now let my picture slideshow I provided in the listing do the talking. You must use a regular computer or laptop to see the slideshow . They will not show up with apps, phones, or some tablets. This is a NO RESERVE auction. No warranties expressed or implied , and a as is where is sale. Feel free to have the motorcycle inspected if you like. All sales are final, and there are no refunds or returns, and inspections are recommended. Bike comes with a title from the previous owner. Full payment is do within 7 days after the auction has ended. Buyer must also contact me within 2 days after the auction has ended to set up a time for payment and pickup. Bike must be picked up in Tampa FL. As long as the bike is paid for in full within 7 days after the auction has ended, then she can sit here for up to two months, but would like it picked up as soon as possible.
