2001 Chevrolet Astro AWD 141,806 miles 4.3L Vortec V68 passenger seating Most recent service: 140,500 miles, Mobil Super, full synthetic oil was used. Pictures taken 3-11-17. PA state safety and emissions inspection through January of 2018 Some “battle scars” on the exterior, I tried to get the most obvious ones in the pictures. From 20 feet away these are not outstanding. Anyone with a little recon experience could get them looking a lot better. Mechanically solid, but showing one rust bubble on the exterior, right rear quarter panel near wheel, shown in pictures Certainly not rust-free underneath, but again, this could be treated and greatly slowed. For example, a right-angle, high-speed grinder with a wire brush wheel could make short work of the axle rust and some rubberized undercoating would make it look lots better. Ice cold A/C (no rear A/C or heat though) Keyless entry Cruise control Rear “Dutch” doors Chrome wheels Clean carpet & upholstery, no stains ---Known non-working items--- 1. The CD player works only with some coaching. When you get it to play, it’s good to go for the rest of the CD. These players are readily available on eBay, and very easy to change out. 2. The automatic door locks do not function on all the doors. They function on all but driver’s and passenger’s doors. 3. One cigarette lighter does not work (but at least one power port does) I owned this van since September of 2015, when it had 137,200 miles. It was used and maintained (for what I believe was most of its life) by a Maryland government agency. Before I put any miles on the van, I did have some work done to it: New ball jointIntake gasket setNew belt tensionerNew engine beltComplete service (Total of $785 with PA sales tax) Since that time, I put a number of miles on the van, up to the current mileage, with no issues. I have since upgraded to a newer Toyota Sienna AWD and no longer need this vehicle. There are no known mechanical issues. I know of no reason that this van would not have many miles of service remaining, but of course I cannot sell it with any guarantees. It comes strictly as-is, with no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied. These vans are stellars in deep snow, and they are built much heavier than any other type or brand of minivan. I would be willing to help with transportation arrangements after the sale, such as arranging for a trucking company to deliver the van to your door at your cost. Or, if you are within a few hour's distance of Denver, PA, I might consider bringing it to you myself, for a charge of $1 per mile to and from your house, 300 mile limit. (300 miles would be $600.)
