For sale is my 1974 BMW 2002 tii. The 2002 has been an immense joy to drive and to own. History: This car has only had 2 owners, both college professors. It spent the last 17 years in Tucson Arizona, before that Tulsa, Oklahoma and University of Iowa. The odometer shows 44 thousand miles but since I am not the original owner I can not guarantee that it is correct. Exterior & Interior: The paint is named BMW Malaga and is a beautiful deep maroon red. The pictures do not do it justice... The paint is show quality except in a few spots where it is boils. Please message me for a full album of pictures. The chrome trim on the car is excellent all around and the bumpers are also pristine. The Interior is original and looks brand new. The seats have no rips or tears and are very firm. It is amazing how well they have held up for being 43 years old. All original glass and all of the windows/vent windows work. Brand new tires. Dealer AC - I was told the ac compressor leaks. Engine:The engine is fuel injected like all BMW 2002 tii’s. The inside of the engine compartment is incredibly detailed. It has all the factory stickers in place and the engine is show quality and is in excellent running condition. The powertrain is original and has been recently serviced. The water pump and starter have recently been replaced. Original 4 speed transmission. The throw out bearing is noisy but drives amazing. These Bmw 2002 tii coupes are skyrocketing in value and very collectible. They are becoming harder and harder to find in this condition. This is a great car to take to car shows, always a head turner and is reliable so it will get you there without worry. NOTE: The vehicle is sold as is. There is no implied warranty of any kind.
