Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This fastback has been in Kansas most, if not all, of its life. I purchased it in 2001 from a friend, who had owned it since the late 1970’s. He purchased it from another friend, who had owned it since the mid 1970’s. The original, numbers matching engine was removed around 1980, when the previous owner began restoring the car. The car has not been driven since. The original engine is included in the sale. I believe the car has had one repaint, dating back to the mid 1970’s. The wheels on the car in the pictures were borrowed from a friend, and are not included in the sale of the car. The car will come with standard black steel wheels. The door tag decodes as follows: built in Dearborn, MI; 289 2V V8; 2+2 fastback; Rangoon red; standard black interior; date January 5, 1965; DSO Kansas City; 2.80:1 conventional axle; C4 automatic. The car also has air conditioning and power steering. I have owned the car for sixteen years now, and have come to the realization that I will never be able to complete the car, so I have reluctantly decided to give someone else a chance.
