You are looking at a fantastic example of an un-molested, bone stock 65 Mustang Fastback. This is a west coast car, built at the San Jose California plant and found in a Garden City Idaho garage where it had been partially disassembled. Upon reassembling, the car has proven to be in excellent condition, straight, undamaged and completely rust free with all the original floor pans, frame rails and rear quarters still in place. The interior is original as well with the exception of the front bucket seats that have had new covers installed. There is one area on the back seat where the seam has come loose. Not bad wear and tear for 52 years! The odometer reads 78,389 and although there is no way to tell if this is actual miles, but by the looks of the vehicle it’s definitely a possibility. The tires have very few miles on them and the paint is a driver quality but flashy viper red, sure to stand out in a crowd. This Mustang is a 6 cylinder, 3 speed and is beautiful just as presented. We are a Mustang restoration shop so we can contract to convert the car to an automatic transmission, install a 289 V-8, and do the 5 lug suspension upgrade if the buyer prefers. This would make a great graduation present for a student, or a fantastic starting point for that Shelby tribute or resto-mod build! Please get all your questions answered before bidding.
