For auction is a 1991 Mercedes 300D 2.5 Turbo for sale. Car over heated and after consulting with some local mechanics, I was told that the head gasket had to be replaced. Well, I decided to change the head gasket, HG bolts, water pump, followers (lifters) myself and had the head cylinder machined and new valve stems installed by a machine shop. Unfortunately, I finished putting everything back together but to my surprise, the car still over heated, and there is white smoke from the tail pipe as well as some leaks around the engine. Therefore, I am selling it as is. Although the car has some issues, it still starts and to the best of my knowledge, it has no rust. Asking price is with the mono blocks otherwise, I can still sell it for less if the buyer prefers the stock wheels. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.
