Here is a 2000 Dodge Ram 2500 6 Speed 24 Valve Cummins Diesel with 218,481 miles. I have owned it for 9 years, I bought it from the area of northern Alabama so the first half of its life was spent in a warm climate away from the road salt, so it has much less body rust than most trucks of this time period. I have put about 100,000 miles on it , but poor health has me in a position I no longer need a heavy duty truck. It is very rare to find a 2000 with a 6 speed transmission, I believe less than 150 of these were produced. To the best of my knowledge it has original paint with no body work ever done, however the clear coat on the roof, hood, and top of fenders have flaked off. It has later model 17" aluminum factory wheels, also 2 new batteries and a new starter in the last year. The interior shows some wear, the dash has a cover on it, the headliner is a little loose on the passenger side. The plastic bezel around the gauge cluster has several cracks. The only thing I know that does not work is the fuel gauge, I just always use the trip odometer, also the emergency brake does not hold, may need adjusting. It has the regular rear receiver hitch and also has a ball in the bed for the goose neck type trailers. The Transmission, transfer case, differentials, and 4-Wheel drive all work correctly. The engine runs very well and strong, and uses no oil. The Air conditioning, Cruise Control, CD player all work well. This truck has very heavy springs and rides and drives like a usual 2500 Dodge. I believe it has 3.55 gears. The last picture shows the clear coat flaked off on top and hood. Please message for any questions, thanks for looking.
