Vehicle Detail
You’re bidding on a 1989 Tc BY Maserati this is a handmade classic. Chrysler shipped a shortened Daytona frame with a 2.2 turbo charged 4 cylinder engines over to Milan, Italy where the rest of the car was hand built. This car has the best qualities of Italian craftsmanship, hand stitched leather interior from the dash to the door panels everything is fitted to perfection. When you open the door you start to appreciate the craftsmanship that went into building these cars. The TC's dash, door panels, seats, armrest, and rear fascia panels were covered in hand-stitched Italian leather. Inside doorjambs were finished with stainless steel panels and sill plates. The convertible boot, over which the hardtop rests, is a body colored metal panel. A special interior storage compartment came with a small spare tire that allowed the use of the full-sized trunk even with the top down. Standard equipment included a 6-way power seats, power door and trunk locks, map lights, puddle lamps, cruise control, and tilt steering wheel. In 1989 - 3,764 were built this car was 1308 have a plate with the original owner's name and build number this car cost $33,000 when the average car of the time was around $10,000. Car has been well taken care of driver’s seat shows a little where and a small hole that is pictures. Car drives excellent Car has never seen Bad Weather No Rust anywhere when car was in Ohio it was parked all winter long Car has always been garage kept as you can see by the original paint. For a 28 year old car this shows better than any other out there. Pull into any car show and people will be drawn to this car as most people have never seen a car like this before. I just put a new air conditioning compressor on the car but the system has not been charged yet. The only thing on the car that does not work is the electronic pull down motor for the tops. This is easy to replace as it uses the same motor that all Cadillac’s use for their trunk pull downs. Small star crack and chip in windshield not in a place that comprises driving line of sight. Everything else works as it should. I love the car I just don’t use it enough to justify keeping it with my kids starting to drive I have too many vehicles so this one needs to go. Bid with confidence this car is sound and I would drive it anywhere anytime confidently.
