This is a 2005 Dodge Ram pick-up truck in great running condition - fantastic gas mileage for a full-size truck; pulls almost 30mpg on long-haul highway (~26mpg; my experience - varies by driver, terrain, etc.) and the V6 is a powerhouse - runs like a V8 for acceleration and top-end speed around town or freeways - a well-tuned beast for such a big frame (FACT: Google the minimal horsepower difference between the early 2000's Magnum-series V8s vs V6s). These Dodge Ram trucks in the 6-cylinder format are HIGHLY DESIRABLE for their ENGINE RELIABILITY and AWESOME GAS MILEAGE FOR THEIR SIZE! SOLID MADE IN USA ENGINE - DETROIT, MICHIGAN! You'll get a bit more towing power (torque factor) from the V8, but the loss in gas mileage for all other tasks isn't worth it. I've pulled huge payload and trailers on this truck without any issue at all. The transmission is 100% solid - no slipping, no issues whatsoever. The engine is strong as hell with no oil leaks or any leaks of any kind. No coolant leaks, radiator also sound. ALL RECALLS PERFORMED RECENTLY, AND OVER $1,500 IN SERVICE REPAIRS PERFORMED - TRUCK CHECKS-OUT MECHANICALLY PERFECT!! I HAVE ALSO JUST RECENTLY BOUGHT FROM THE DEALER & DEALER-INSTALLED A BRAND NEW SET OF GOODYEAR FORTERA RADIALS FOR THIS TRUCK! THESE ARE BRAND-NEW TOP-END TIRES - A NEARLY $1,000 INVESTMENT, ALL FOR YOU!! ESSENTIALLY 100% tread-life! Almost totally unused! Fresh as daisys!The radio works, the windows & windshield are sound and uncracked, interior is worn but fairly good, no large tears or rips anywhere - routine wear and dirt, that's it. The factory chrome wheels look great - surficially bent-up but dealer says straight/sound & pretty clean for a work truck that had no attention given to cosmetics. Car was aligned with new tire install and alignment is good. No wheels shimmy or any other driving/smoothness issues. Car runs smooth and true. The car has only two significant issues to me: (1) AC is out, so that needs repair and (2) it has some deep, very large dents in the quarter and side-panels - especially on the passenger side - as shown in the photos, though the depth of the dents isn't showing well, because the truck is black. **They are subsantial, large dents, and that is full disclosure, whether you can see them clearly in the photos or not, so don't buy and complain about the DENTS - that is the ONLY reason - along with the needed AC repair - I am discounting this truck**. Most of the body photos in this listing were taken before the most recent parking garage dents on the passenger side, so I have included two new, clear, close-up photos of the newer dents in the last few photos - photo #20 & #21. The dents are NOT from accidents, but tight-radius parking garage turns (columns bumps), so there is no known collateral frame damage - car went through dealer service and inspection after the dents, with no issues found. So, if you're going to complain about fully-disclosed dents, nothing to do with function of the truck, don't waste my time. I'm selling a fabulously reliable, strong, and mechanically awesome work truck - not a Ferrari California for summer wine trips. But, this car might make you enough money to buy your Ferrari from your work productivity because it's so reliable, and will still be running while your Ferrari is in the garage at 20,000 miles. Ugly duckings pull their weight. APART FROM THE AC (AIR CONDITIONING), THIS CAR'S ENGINE IS IN FANTASTIC MECHANICAL CONDITION, NEVER BREAKS DOWN ON ME - NEVER - AND IT HAS BEEN DRIVEN ACROSS THE COUNTRY, NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, WEST DOZENS OF TIMES!! HAULS LOADS, CONVENIENT AS HELL - THE IDEAL WORK TRUCK WITH GREAT MILEAGE AND PERFECT FOR CONSTRUCTION WORK IN MIAMI! THIS TRUCK MEANS INCOME! MONEY! I also installed a NEW PLATINUM DURALAST BATTERY, and the sucker is so awesome, you can leave it for months without driving and it'll start without a hitch. This truck's engine is just solid all the way through - old fashioned American dependable like the old K5 Chevy Blazers used to be. I have many other cars, and this is the only one that's never let me down - neither around town nor on 3,000-5,000-mile drives. Again, perfect for dependability. You could even use it as a daily commuter with no work profile, because the mileage is great, and it rides high off the road, so you have awesome visibility to avoid accidents.TRUCK WAS NEVER USED COMMERCIALLY!! Engine has 95,808 miles on it, and I'm confident it will do another 100,000 to 200,000 miles without any major issues under proper service. Even the tailgate levers have been replaced (tailgate shuts tight and quick - no fiddling with broken latches, as often happens on used pick-up trucks). The engine never had any issues in the first place, but I basically fixed all the annoying details at the dealer while she was in for all her recalls - the bald tires, the tailgate levers, the scheduled service and fluids, the lights & electrical, the alignment - to the tune of $1,575.00, so you won't have to, and its had the FULL DIAGNOSTICS BY THE DEALER, SO NO HIDDDEN ISSUES!! I leave the AC repair to you - dealer will charge more ($1,000?) or you can find cheaper 3rd party or do-it-yourself for cost of parts. If you don't like the dents, pull 'em, fill with bondo, spray it, and you're done. Black is easy color to match, and you can do the repair for probably like $100-$300 in filler. The rest is just your time and skill. Otherwise, leave as-is for a work truck. She's reliable and won't let you down. These 2005 Dodge Rams are listing for $5,000-$7,000+ with more miles than this one because of the power to gas mileage ratio (the "IT" factor in making income off a work truck these days). Beyond that, total miles on the ODOMETER is the single most important value factor in any automobile - especially trucks you have to rely upon.
