Vehicle Detail
What you are looking at is a 1976 Volkswagen Westfalia Weekender Wolfsburg Edition with 99,659 original miles that has always been garage kept when it wasn't being used. This van is rust free and in Excellent condition, especially considering it still has its original paint. There are a few minor dings/small dents and some scratches on the outside that I have included pictures of but no major damage anywhere. It has its original 2.1 liter 95 horse power engine and automatic transmission and it runs and drives great. The only thing not working is the air conditioning, its all there and in working order but it does need Freon. I can only put 24 pictures on here but I have more and I can take more if there is something you would like to see more close up or that you cant see in the pictures I put on here. The interior, pop top canvas & screens, curtains, paneling, and cabinets are all in great shape. The worse thing about the interior is the carpeting in the front is pretty dirty and I don't want to shampoo it in this weather so it would need to be cleaned or honestly easily replaced. It still has the Dometic RC 160E fridge that only came in the Wolfsburg weekender from 85-87 and it works. This thing really is in amazing original condition. I think it would be really hard to find one in much better condition, all though I'm sure they're out there but most people never want to give them up. I also have the original owners manual, camper/Wolfsburg edition manual, maintenance manual, warranty book and Dometic fridge manual in the plastic pouch from Westfalia. I also have most of the service records from new to 2005, after that the owner before me didn't give me his records. I don't know what else to say about it but I would happily answer any ones questions if you give ma a call or text me on my cell at 408-313-2012. You can email me if you like but I don't check my emails very often so calling me is best. I require a $1,000 cash deposit within 24 hours of the auctions end and full payment with 72 hours of auctions end unless other arrangements are made prior to bidding or winning. I will accept the deposit through Paypal but the full payment must either be cash in person or bank wire transfer. I will accept a cashiers for full payment but only if I keep the van until the check completely clears in my bank which can take up to 10 business days. You can verify that with your bank. A cashiers check is not the same as cash.
