Vehicle Detail

1969 Honda SL350 K0 Getting rid of my prize possession here! I bought this bike, along with the CT90 advertised too, back in 1992. I bought both bikes from the original owner. He bought the bikes at a Compton Honda dealership. This ad is for the SL350. The bike was last ridden about 2000. It was running just fine when it was parked. At the time, I bought a Beemer and ended up riding that pretty much exclusively. I didn't service this correctly by draining the tank. I just ended up parking it. So I'm sure you should clean up the fuel system. That and the oil change is about it to see this thing run. You would also need tires and a battery. When it was running, everything worked as it should. The gears and clutch was working fine and shifting was working great. Really I didn't put that many miles on it. Maybe 7-800 miles? I always wanted one of these when I was a kid and never used it all that much when I had it! This would clean up easily better than what it is. It's up to you on how you want to do it. From just doing a quick cleaning, I can see that the headlight ring will clean nice and the gas tank cap will too. The chrome housing for the rear light will take a little effort, but that looks like it will clean up nicely too. Really just about all the chrome on the bike would clean up with some effort. The gas tank has just one quarter size bow type indentation. The dent can kinda be seen on the last pic of the tank. It is at the very bottom of the pic. I'll see if I can post up a good pic on that when I drag the bike out again. The bike is great example of the SL350s. Even the mufflers are in pretty good shape. I and the owner before me had some repair done on them. I examined them and they look like they are solid. There is an extra muffler that is part of this, along with some other stuff, a clutch, brake pads, and other miscellaneous parts as seen. I have the original keys for this too. I'm not sure if the buddy seat was a Honda accessory or if it was aftermarket. Would be nice to hear about this from some that would know. The side covers are missing and are not included on this bike. Other than that, I'm pretty sure the bike is complete! Viewing: I can do some type of viewing. Just would like to get it out for more than one potential buyer. The bike is chained together with other bikes and it's a bit of an effort to get stuff out, but I'll work with you!
