Thank you for your emails - I am aware bumpers, lights etc are not of a 1968. The previous owners did many modifications. I am going by the VIN plate, and Title for this vehicle. Nicely restored over the past 5--7 yrs by its owners. We were told 15k in restoration but no documentation for anything. Paint top and interior are all new and look great. As you can see in the pictures paint, body, top, interior, trim engine compartment, undercarriage etc all look to be in great driver to show quality. The car shows very well dead straight body, looks like new fenders quarters etc. There was rust underneath at some point there are new pans now and some repairs made to rails you can see in the photos. We are told motor was upgrade 5 yrs ago to a 1970 model and both motor--trans got rebuilt 5--6 yrs ago however we have no paperwork. Runs great shifts great. We count this car as an excellent driver quality car not a show car however most would represent this bug as show material. Really cool color combo and interesting interior that you can leave as is or change to suit your tastes but its very cool--nice as is. We are happy to assist with shipping, interior changes, etc if you desire. The owners were elderly and we apologize for no documentation on the resto work but its obvious to us a lot of money was spent approx 15k on paint top interior mechanicals etc. You will love the car and enjoy the car for our realistic reserve price.
