1999 Ford Mustang Saleen S281 cobra speedster everything is all original no upgrades besides the bigger exhausted but the second owner change the color I am third owner owned it for about a year The color used to be crystal white the second Owner change it to yellow why I don't know it very rare if you know what it is it's not one of those mustangs we can just make it faster and race it it's a collectors car it's 1999 first year of the new body style and mustang of Michigan wanted to build a convertible cobra what a Saleen package so they got permission from Steve Saleen to build it you can see that the picture I put up there that in 99 they made 421 including convertibles hard tops and SR ect... if you look at the Vin number It matches the one I have but they are only 12 of the models that I have and it is number 37 out of the 421 again not from Saleen factory from Mustang factory in Michigan but it is part of the Saleen models considering that mustang got permission from Steve Saleen to make it and made it part of the collection I got this information from online that I posted up and called up to Gavin ford in Los Angeles California and Saleen club in orange county Los Angeles however when the car got I did not see the Saleen badges on the firewall or the factory rollbar because the guys who repainted it did a good job but did not put the badges back on so that is why I called up to these guys before I bought it to make sure it is real if you would like the number I could give that to you because I did the same thing there's nothing wrong with being curious I do not want people commenting saying that I am a liar if you're wondering if it's real or not contact me and I will give you the peoples numbers that I talk to and they will most likely tell you the same I am telling you what I've been told it does need a little bit of work was running and driving in clutch need to be replace I tried having the cheap way out getting a clutch installed Long story short I found the guy told me he can do it and gave him half his money and the money to pick up the clutch never showed up and messed me up so the clutch is still not installed I do not have a clutch for it I am not a mechanic as far as I know he disconnected thelinkage system which means it doesn't going to gear but the car still starts also the paint is a little bit faded on the trunk area and a little bit on the sides on the top something too serious however if you would like more pictures and get a better look I could send it to you no problem this car has never been hit also does not have rust there is just a little nicks scratches where in tear basically nothing too serious like I said everything is pretty much stock on the car and just needs a new clutch The top works up and down perfectly small little cut but not rough damage or a leaky holes it's more of a little bit of wear and tear also comes with the top piece that goes to the backseat that makes it look like a two seater the same exact colors didn't area is also in good shape no cuts or anything serious just some more no weather but not too bad I do not have the time or the money to put in a new clutch and I would like to get rid of it instead of it sitting around and selling to someone who will love it just as much as I did before if you have any questions or would like to get some more information please let me know thank you
